Securing, protecting, and defending our nation’s cybersecurity data and infrastructure requires a responsive, extensive, and highly trained workforce.  Cybersecurity is an essential business skill for the evolving workplace. For-profit companies, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations all need technologically proficient, business-savvy information technology security professionals. In this Specialization, you will learn about a variety of processes for protecting business assets through policy, education and training, and technology best practices. You’ll develop an awareness of the risks and cyber threats or attacks associated with modern information usage, and explore key technical and managerial topics required for a balanced approach to information protection. 

The 9DSS offers courses as a place to start for all people interested in advancing their cybersecurity education: current cybersecurity employees looking to build skills, career changers seeking to forge a new path or veterans hoping to retrain for the next phase in life.  

We teach only Cyber Security and Cyber Defense curriculums, with all of our courses being at least 70% Hands-on and 30% Lecture. Our courses deliver hands-on experiences, real world exercises, and interactive classroom discussions taught by Cyber Security Experts.
